Skaven Grey Seer Conversion

Here's a quick tutorial showing how I mounted the extra Grey Seer from my Plague Furnace on a 20mm base. I used a piece of cork to get the right angle and replaced the screaming bell handle with a knife from one of the extra clan rat arms I had laying around.

Space Marine Librarian Painting Guide (plus painting video)

Here's that new Plastic Librarian single sprue kit that GW released with the codex a little while ago. Its an amazing kit, and the detail is steller. I used the same general paint scheme, but picked a different blue for the armour to make him a little different than the rest of my Ultramarines.

Here's a couple pictures of a Goblin Shaman I'm working on.  He's from the command set by Warhammer Forge.  Really cool model that I want to add to my collection... I'll have to do the BSB soon as well.

Cypher Conversion

Here's a quick and easy guide showing how to make your own Cypher, the fallen angel, out of a bunch of regular bits. The kitbash is based on a Dark Angels veteran robed body and adds Chaos arms (storm bolter arms from the Chaos vehicle sprue), a Chaos Warriors (WFB) sword and some more space marine and dark angels bits. Its not 100% accurate, but hits the main points and will look good once painted up.

Skaven Plague Claw Catapult (Tutorial)

Here's a guide and painting tutorial for the Skaven Plague Claw Catapult. I started this over Christmas after having an itch to paint some Skaven. I meant to paint up a blob of 40 Stormvermin, but I needed to do the Screaming Bell, so I figured that I'd paint this at the same time. Well, after all that, this got finished first, the bell is 80% done, and the Stormvermin are assembled and spray painted. Hopefully I get to them soon.

Tutorial: Hive Fleet Leviathan

Here's the third (final?) tutorial for Tyranids to celebrate the new codex coming out tomorrow. I painted this one up with a was over white like the Leviathan one, but don't love the way it turned out. I think its too purple, but didn't want to do another layer over it. In hind sight it should have had that, or I should have just painted the first purple wash in the joints.

Hive Fleet Kraken Painting guide and Tutorial

Here's the second Hive Fleet to make into tutorial form... Kraken. I used another quick method of doing the skin (white base, wash and drybrush). This is great as long as you don't mess it up later by getting paint on it. If this does happen it can be difficult to colour match the touch-up.

Ultramarine Stormtalon Gunships Finished (plus tutorial)

Here's a pair of Stormtalon gunships that I painted up over the holidays. I airbrushed the base colours and finished off with some weathering powders. Cool looking kits, and I think they will work well in pairs. As usual, the paint guide is at the bottom below the video and pics.
