High Elves Army showcase

Here's something I've been meaning to do for a while... an army showcase showing the various projects I have on the go.  In this one you'll see the High Elf army I've painted up.

Savavage Ork Shaman on War Boar Finished

Ork Dakkajet Conversion

Here's the start of my Dakkajet conversion using an F4U Corsair (1:48 scale) and the leftover bits from the Ork kit. I'm using the Corsair as the frame and adding bits on top to make it look Orky. So far I've everything has been from the flyer kit except the prop that I'm using from a Deff Kopta.

Dark Eldar Wyches Finished

Here's the squad of Wyches I was working on... I used all the same colours as the warriors with the addition of the combat drug tubes in blue. I had a chance to practice those on the venom gunners so these went pretty straight forward. There's a little more gold and purple on these guys so they definitely stand out, but fit in with the rest of the army (so far). Paints are at the bottom of this post.

Ork Bommer Assembly

Here's the follow up to the unboxing where I show how the assembly goes for the new Ork flyer.  I also show the 1:48 scale model I plan on using to make a second flyer with all the extra bits.

Dark Eldar Wyches WIP

In between assembling my new flyers I've been working on these guys. They are coming along nicely and will double the number of troops I have complete for my dark Eldar list.

Ork bommer unboxing

Here's an unboxing video of he new ork flyer kit.  Its a really fun looking kitthat I can imagine getting a few of.  I also plan on using the extra bits to make another flyer from a 1:48 scale corsair.

Dark Eldar Venom Complete

Finished up the two Venoms I was working on... Saving the extra riders and trophy poles for another time.

Same paints as the Kabalite warriors, and at the bottom as per usual.

Stormtalon unboxing, assembly, magnetization

Here's the assembly video of each step of the stormtalon. I also magnetize the weapons to allow different options there. It's a neat kit that doeast look bad in person. I'm not sure what chapter I'm going to make this as I haven't started a vanilla marine army yet.

Stormtalon Assault Cannon Conversion

Here's some pics of the new Stromtalon I just assembled... and converted the assault cannon from the one it came with to the Ravenwing one. The one it comes with is the same size as the landraider and baal predator one, but I think the landspeeder size is better (they are both skimmers, right?). I'll do a video explaining it soon, but for now here are some pics. This is just to show its possible and fairly easy.
